This is one of the best strategy game ever. But, we need more scenarios and new utilities like in the board game such as helicopter and barriers to the police. You can see the game from Brazil of the brand Grow. Also you can put a prize system and challenges to keep players interested. Invest in publicity, because this game has a tremendous potential. You can talk to me that I have many ideas to develop the game, because I love it.

Great game, but there is a bug when Mr. X is played by the computer and you play as the detectives.
Once Mr. X location is revealed and you move your detectives one position next to a possible Mr. X location, a sound effect is played if Mr. X is one position away from a detective. This effectively gives away Mr. Xs actual position since you will know if you dont hear this sound effect Mr. X is not at that possible location even though you didnt actually have to move a detective onto that space to confirm.
Easy to learn, tutorial is great. Playing as detective is quite easy to win when playing with 5 CPU opponents. Mr X is a bigger challenge?
Crazy goooood! Used to play it as a kid all the time. Cant believe it took me this long to look for it!! Its amazing. Love it!!
Some bad moments
For an expensive game, and high reviews, I expected a much better user interface. Instead: Its hard to read the map. Its difficult to click the buttons. Easy to make a mistake, slow, laborious. Animations of player moves should scroll the map... Etc. Very bad UI. The rest of the game is very good; but for the price I expected a game UI to rival Carcassonne, and this is the opposite.
I bought this game because I heard about the board game. There is no players to play with online. So I gave them $6 to have an icon on my screen. SO FUN!! Why is there no computer players? I will be asking for my money back.
I love the boas game but get to play it so rarely. I was hoping, as the app advertises that there would be a single player mode. The closest the app comes to is a multi-player (on the same device mode). A single player adventure mode would be great, various difficulties, challenges and achievements would provide hours of individual Scotland Yard fun, and would make you a better player when actually playing with others. I hope that eventually this is added.
You cant play alone (with PC). You need at least 1 friend with this game. Its impossible to find other players online (you can wait for somebody hours). Its ridiculous that you cant play with pc!
This game is poorly designed. I cant figure out how to play it and the tutorial doesnt do anything. Any decent game designer would know not to use black text on a dark blue background. Please purchase a different game, not this one, or tell me how to get my $5 back from these crooks.
I played the board game for the first time in 30 years on Christmas with my dad and son. So my son found it in the App Store and I have to say its as fun as the board game.
